What we collect

Almost nothing. Sundial is a permissionless on-chain product:
  • On-chain: when you register, all actions are public on Terra². Wallet addresses, names, records — visible to anyone querying the blockchain.
  • Frontend: this site (sundial.markets) does not run third-party analytics or tracking by default. Vercel may log basic request metadata for hosting purposes only.
  • Off-chain services: the optional Solis agent stores per-name interaction history keyed by your luna name. Stored locally on the operator's server, encrypted at rest. Access is tied to your name's wallet signing a challenge.

What we don't collect

  • Email addresses
  • Names, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers (unless you set them as on-chain records)
  • Browser fingerprints
  • Cross-site tracking cookies

Public data

Anything you set as a record on your name (avatar URL, bio, social handle) is stored on a public blockchain. It is publicly visible, queryable, and replicable. Don't put anything sensitive in records.

Cookies

We use a single localStorage key (luna-id:wallet-connected) to remember your wallet choice. This is not a tracking cookie. We do not set advertising cookies.

Right to deletion

You can:
  • Remove individual records via the Manage panel (one tx)
  • Let your name expire (records persist 90 days post-expiry, then can be wiped on remint)
  • Transfer the name out (records are wiped automatically on transfer)
  • Request Solis-stored interaction history deletion by signing a delete-claim with your wallet (Solis tier 2+, when launched)
Note: the on-chain history of past states cannot be deleted from the blockchain itself — only updated to current state.

Third-party services

When displaying your avatar, the frontend may load images from unavatar.io (a public CDN that proxies social-network avatars). This means unavatar.io sees the request was made and can derive an approximate location from your IP. To opt out, set a customavatar URL in your records.
